These groups are not meeting durng the pandemic.
Men's Danger Club
The Men's Danger Club is an opportunity for men to get together and enjoy each others’ company whilst doing something together that has a bit of an “edge” to it (often!).
The Men's Danger Club is open to any and all men from St. Michael's, St. Mary's in Draycott, Breaston Methodist Church and indeed anyone with any tenuous connection with Breaston or Draycott (DE72 area) - simply knowing someone already in the club will do!. The deeds of derring-do range from death-defying curry nights and perilous games of chess, table tennis and jenga to heroic deeds on a golf driving range and scary escapades on a ski slope.
Ladies Who Lunch
With somewhat similar aims to the Men's Danger Club, Ladies Who Lunch meet in the genteel surroundings of Anderson's Lounge on Blind Lane. Bring a drink and nibbles, and have a chat! The group meets monthly.
A monthly gathering of ladies who meet for a drink and a chat in Anderson's Lounge. This happens in between the Ladies Who Lunch meetings.
Not so much a group that meets, there is nevertheless a band of keen jigsaw enthusiasts who swap jigsaws on a regular basis (though that must surely depend on how many pieces the jigsaw has, and how what proportion of the picture is plain blue sky!)
