During the pandemic we run our Alpha course online. We watch a video, then in a Zoom meeting we discuss it.
Alpha is a course that offers a practical introduction to the Christian faith. It is run by all types of churches up and down the country - and internationally.
A typical Alpha session involves a meal for all the participants (for an evening course) or coffee and cake (for an afternoon course), followed by a talk (either from a live speaker, or a video), and then after coffee, a chance to discuss what you've heard and raise any questions about the Christian faith. (Indeed, the second "A" in "Alpha" stands for "Ask anything" - no questions are too off-the-wall). The course lasts for 10 weeks; half way through there is an "away day" on a Saturday - this is often regarded as the key to the whole course.
If you would like further information, or to find out when the next courses are being run, then contact us.
